Expanding our offshore cable-lay and subsea logistics capability

Demand for subsea cabling across the North Sea continues to grow — driven by new offshore wind capacity, grid reinforcement and a wave of interconnector projects linking energy markets. In response, the MWNW group is scaling its offshore cable-lay and subsea logistics capability.
Rather than treating vessels, engineering and marine operations as separate services, the group brings them together under one coordinated programme. That means the team planning a cable route, the crew handling it on deck and the engineers designing the installation approach are working to the same plan from day one.
This integrated model reduces the handovers that so often cause delay and cost overrun on marine projects. It also gives clients a single point of accountability for work that has traditionally been split across several suppliers.
As the programme grows, the group is investing in the people and equipment needed to take on larger and more complex campaigns — while keeping the same focus on safe, well-planned operations that has defined its work to date.
